Little Bunyas Early Education Centre of Excellence is privately owned and operated by a local family with many decades of experience in the operation of Early Childhood Centres. The Approved Provider of the centre has studied and worked in the field of education extensively for the past 28 years. She brings to the centre a wealth of educational, management and industry experience.

We are very proud to be an integral part of our local community, with our team of skilled educators and passionate Early Childhood Teachers; we offer a boutique style of service to our children, families and local community.

Our architecturally designed setting nestled behind our large privacy fence provides a safe and quiet outdoor space where children can play away from traffic noise and other distractions.
We have numerous covered sandpit play areas, mud kitchens, bicycle tracks and plenty of large open play spaces under shade where children can create and explore the outdoor environment.
We have provided a wide variety of custom built play equipment and play spaces for your children to enjoy with our open spaces encouraging them to run, jump, explore, create and be active; this is essential to a child’s wellbeing and physical health.
Our centre provides an accredited physical educational program that is included in our daily curriculum and activities such as yoga are offered on a daily basis.
Additional shade across the play space ensures that children are protected from the harsh elements.

Cushioned synthetic turf throughout the play space ensures safety for the children.
A wide variety of gross motor equipment is provided to ensure children develop physical skills to their full capacity. The children have the choice of assisting with the creation of their play space each day further enhancing their sense of belonging in the centre.
A separate 0-2 year old yard ensures that our younger learners have their own quiet space to explore and develop those important physical skills while feeling safe and included. We also accommodate sibling play which for some families is very important and something we value.
Wide protected verandahs provide shade and additional space to explore art and craft activities outside of the classroom environment.
Other outdoor programs implemented at the centre ensure children have the opportunity to explore environmental sustainability through ‘green play’ experiences such as; vegetable gardens, flower gardens, market gardens, bird watching, water recycling and composting etc. Our children also experience the important life skills of looking after animals at various times we introduce pets to the children to give them the important life experience of caring for small animals.

Indoor facilities

Our state of the art, architecturally designed service has been developed with the children’s best interests at heart. All of our learning environments are well ventilated, climate controlled, light filled spaces, set up to encourage the children to explore, create and innovate.

Each educator places great emphasis on creating a warm and welcoming learning environment where the children have a sense of belonging and community; essential to positive learning and development. Each piece of equipment and each learning display is carefully considered to ensure your children are getting the very best.

Healthy Eating

Our centre provides nutritious and delicious meals that have been designed by a practising dietician and infant nutritionist, meaning they have been designed with the perfect mix of carbohydrates, proteins, dairy, fruits and veggies. The highest quality and freshest ingredients are used to ensure that every morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are both nutritious and delicious. Special dietary requirements are also provided for so please speak to us upon enrolment if your children require a special meal; including wheat-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, lactose-free, pork-free, vegetarian or halal, we can happily supply this for you. Our menu is on display daily and if your child or family has a favourite or preference, let us know and we can include it in our menu planning and our centre cook can recreate this for your child.

Policies and Procedures

At Little Bunya’s Early Education of Excellence we have many policies and procedures in place. As you can imagine there are many different policies and procedures that are needed to ensure your children are receiving exemplary care, the policies listed below are not exhaustive by any means. A full compliment of the centre policies and procedures is available in the entry foyer with a brief summary of centre policies available in the parent handbook – available upon enrolment or when you visit our centre.

Understanding and agreeing to abide by centre policies is important to ensure the smooth running of the centre and to protect the integrity of the program and health and safety of the children. We are happy to discuss our policies with you in more depth at any time if you require further clarification.

National Quality Framework

The National Quality Framework sets the national benchmark for the quality of education and care, creating greater accountability and consistency for early childhood services across Australia.

Exceeding National Quality Standard

Little Bunya’s Early Education of Excellence has participated in the assessment and rating process and has proudly achieved an exceeding rating across all areas of our service. Our centre has a quality improvement plan in place to demonstrate where we have been actively working towards outstanding quality. Opening Hours

Our centre is licensed to operate between the hours of 6.30am – 6.30pm Monday to Friday for 52 weeks per year, except gazetted public holidays.

Fee Structure

Little Bunya’s Early Education Centre is approved under Federal Government guidelines to provide you with full access to all childcare fee subsidies currently available. There are currently two different subsidies provided by the Federal Government, these are;

Child Care Benefit (CCB)
50% Child Care Rebate (CCR)

Both subsidies are managed by Centrelink. In order to receive either subsidy, you will be required to register your family and child with Centrelink.
